Also called "A arms," what they do is connect the vehicles' frames or bodies to their wheel assemblies or steering knuckles. These symptoms can suggest a degraded ball joint, a torn bushing, or both, and broken-down parts almost invariably lead to the front wheels detaching from the rest of the suspension completely.
